Pleasantville Martial Arts School Teaches Vision and Goal Setting
As leaders, you know that vision is an extremely important part of successful goal-setting. Without vision, the goal simply becomes something you say you’re going to do– not something that has a highly developed sensory component that keeps you motivated, driven, clear and focused.
Joel Barker once said; “Vision without action is a dream. Action without vision is simply passing the time. Action with Vision is making a positive difference.” We must take charge of our futures by creating a powerful vision of what
we want and then taking action on it.
This week, let’s talk about our goals and vision for 2011.
How can we inspire others as well as ourselves to choose goals and develop vision that help to develop our character and how we can make the world better– rather than simply helping oneself?

These are really encouraging insights. There are definitely lots of things we can learn from doing martial arts, including having to develop positive values within ourselves. These are often the main reasons why martial art schools exists; for a person to become more self-confident, learn good values and become a more positive person. Thank you for sharing!
